Rory McIlroy's Golf Ball Lands In A Guys Pocket

Well, here's something you don't see every day.

Here at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta the Tour Championship is underway. And its been an interesting two days so far.

Today, after a wet morning start, the strangeness continued.

Rory McIlroy, who tends to draw large galleries wherever he goes, made what looked like a normal drive off of 14.

His ball fell into the treeline and then, you guessed it, into a guy's shorts pocket.

The judges were called over and after ascertaining that the guy had not moved from that spot let Rory take a drop right there below his pocket.

The guy pulled out Rory's ball and handed it to him, although he looked like he wanted to keep it. The judge said " He can give you another one, he needs this one."

Rory, in typical Rory fashion, then put the ball about 15 feet from the hole and made par.
