Michael Fassbender plays a greedy lawyer, only known as The Counselor, who becomes involved with the seedy world of drug trafficking. The Counselor Website

What to Watch For:  The film is dedicated in memory of the director, Ridley Scott's late brother, Tony Scott.

Word on the Street:  Brad Pitt may get an Oscar nomination for his role as the drug dealing middleman, Westray.

My Take:  I would go to this movie just to see this impressive cast which, aside from Fassbender and Pitt, includes Penelope Cruz, Cameron Diaz, Javier Bardem, Rosie Perez and Ruben Blades.

"Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa"  (2013)

86 year-old Irving Zisman (Johnny Knoxville) takes his 8 year-old grandson (Jackson Nicoll) on a road trip across America. Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa Website

What to watch for:  The plot allows Knoxville and Nicoll to do real life pranks on the unsuspecting public as part of the film.

Word on the Street:  The first scene shot was on a golf course in Ohio where Knoxville's character caused havoc with golfers.  The filmmakers shot it as a test to see if the film would work, and they were happy with the results.

My Take:  Knoxville is giving his fans a "Jackass Light" film without the large Jackass cast.

If you can't go to the theatre this weekend, stay at home and watch movies on CW69.
