What to Watch For:  This animated film was shot in 3-D. Rovio, a Finish company, partly backed this film, spending $100 million, the most for any Finish film.

Word on the Street:  Josh Gad at first turned down the part of Chuck, as he thought his character was too similar to Olaf from "Frozen."  A 30-minute pitch from the director convinced him to take the part.

My Take:  If this film is a huge success, expect more films to be made from the games you play on your phone.

What to Watch For:  Most of the film was shot in the Dunwoody, Georgia area.

Word on the Street:  There are some surprise cameos in the movie.

My Take:  The first film was a surprise hit at the box office.  Can they make it two in a row?

What to Watch For:  The film was shot in Atlanta and Decatur, Georgia.

Word on the Street: Film critics are very excited about this film from writer/director Shane Black ("Lethal Weapon," "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang").

My Take:  "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" is one of my favorite films of all time.

What to Watch For: The film has been a big hit at film festivals around the world, including the 2015 Venice Film Festival where it won two awards.

Word on the Street:  Margot Robbie had to drop out of the film due to scheduling conflicts with "The Legend of Tarzan." Her role was then taken by Dakota Johnson.

My Take:  In my opinion, Tilda Swinton is one of our greatest actors.

Word on the Street:  Film critics who have seen the movie are raving about Susan Sarandon's performance.

My Take: With films like Sally Field in "Hello, My Name is Doris." Blythe Danner in "I'll See You in My Dreams, and this film,  people will see movies with women over 50 in the lead.
