Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck) is a math savant who gets along better with numbers than people. He works as a freelance accountant for some of the world's most dangerous criminal organizations. What to Watch For:  The movie was shot in Atlanta, Georgia, including the campus of Georgia Tech.

Word on the Street:  The fight sequences are based on the Indonesian martial arts called, Pencak Silat.

My Take:  I am interested to see this film because Christian Wolff is a man who is on the autism scale.

The film opens nationwide on Friday.

"Kevin Hart: What Now?"  (2016)

What to Watch For:  Halle Berry and Don Cheadle make cameos in the film.

Word on the Street:  Kevin Hart has said that this will be his last stand-up special as he wants to go out on top.

My Take:  I love the movie poster campaign that includes parodies of "The Dark Knight" and "World War Z."

The film opens nationwide on Friday.

"Desierto"  (2015)

A group of people are trying to cross the border from Mexico into the United States.  They encounter a man (Jeffery Dean Morgan) who is determined to keep them from crossing using any means possible. "Desierto" Website

What to Watch For:  This film is from co-writer/director Jonas Cuaron.  He is the son of two-time Oscar winner Alfonso Cuaron.

Word on the Street:  The film won the International Critics Award at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival.

My Take:  It's always fun to see Jeffery Dean Morgan on the screen.

The film opens in Atlanta on Friday.

"American Honey"  (2016)

Star (Sasha Lane) is living in a bad situation and is looking for a way out.  When she meets a traveling magazine seller (Shia LeBeouf), she hooks up with his group and is about to go on an adventure of a lifetime. "American Honey" Website

What to Watch For:  Andrea Arnold wrote and directed the film which won two awards at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival.

Word on the Street:  The film is currently rated at 83% on Rotten Tomatoes, with a sample field of 75 film critics.

My Take:  Most of the cast, with the exception of Shia LeBeouf and a few others, were found in parking lots, construction sites and state fairs. The lead actress, Sasha Lane, was discovered while she was on spring break.

"Command and Control"  (2016)

What to Watch For:  Producer/director/co-writer Robert Kenner brought us the award-winning documentary "Food, Inc." (2008) and the Peabody-winning TV documentary "Two Days in October" (2005).

Word on the Street: The film has been getting rave reviews from film critics and is a New York Times Critic's Pick.

My Take:  I thoroughly enjoyed "Food, Inc." and will look forward to seeing this film.
