What to Watch For: You may have seen all the promotional material for this film starring Fred Savage. So the added footage is a tied up Fred Savage being read to by Deadpool, like Savage's appearance in the classic 1980s film The Princess Bride. Once Upon a Deadpool Website

Word on the Street: Per Ryan Reynolds insistence, for each ticket, sold a dollar will be donated to charity.

My Take: I loved Deadpool 2, so I can't wait to see the new material.

Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse (2018) PG

What to Watch For: The all-star voice cast includes Zoe Kravitz, Nicolas Cage, Kathryn Hahn, Chris Pine, Natalie Morales, Oscar Issac, Jake Johnson, Hailee Steinfeld, Lily Tomlin, and Mahershala Ali.

Word on the Street: The film was just nominated for Best Animated Picture for the Golden Globes, and the New York Film Critics Circle picked it as their Best Animated Film of 2018.

My Take: One of my all-time favorite actresses, Natalie Morales, does a voice for this film, so you know I am seeing this film.

Word on the Street: The is the directorial debut of Josie Rourke.

My Take: I always enjoy a historical drama.

The film opens in Atlanta area theatres on Friday.

Mortal Engines (2018) PG-13

What to Watch For: Lead actress Hera Hilmar, an Icelandic actress is best known in the United States for her role as Vanessa in the TV program Da Vinci's Demons.

Word on the Street: This is the first film that Christian Rivers has directed, having previously worked on many films as a storyboard artist and visual effects designer.

My Take: I love Sci-Fi movies.

What to Watch For: This is the first film Clint Eastwood has directed and acted in since Gran Torino, ten years earlier.

Word on the Street: The film is based on a true story and was shot in Georgia.

My Take: The outstanding cast includes Bradley Cooper, Michael Pena, Taissa Farmiga, Jill Flint, Andy Garcia, and Laurence Fishburne.

The film opens nationwide on Friday.

Vox Lux (2018) R

What to Watch For: The dance choreography in the film was done by Natalie Portman's husband, Benjamin Millepied.

Word on the Street: Vox Lux means Voice of Light in Latin.

My Take: I will go see any film that Natalie Portman is in.
