Word on the Street:  The film was co-written/directed by the 3-time Academy Award nominee Gary Ross.

My Take:  I hear that there are a number of cameos in this film.

Word on the Street:  The film won the Junior Jury award at the 2018 Montclair Film Festival.

My Take:  The film is written and directed by Bart Layton who up until this film, has directed documentaries like the well-received 2012 film The Imposter.

Hotel Artemis  (2018) R

What to Watch For:  The cast includes Sterling K. Brown, Jeff Goldblum, Jenny Slate, and Zachary Quinto.

Word on the Street:  This is Jodie Foster's first acting gig since 2013's Elysium.

My Take: This is the feature film debut of writer/director Drew Pearce.

My Take:  Saoirse Ronan has become one of our finest young actors.

My Take:  I am always up for a horror film.

Word on the Street:  The film played to a packed house at the 2018 Atlanta Film Festival.

My Take:  I missed the film at the Atlanta Film Festival, so you know I am going to see this one.

The film opens in Atlanta area theatres on Friday.

My Take:  Nicolas Cage broke his ankle while making this film.
