What to Watch For: The cast includes Connie Nielsen, Michael Ironside, RZA, and the great, legendary Christopher Lloyd.

Word on the Street: Bob Odenkirk trained for two years in preparation for this role as Hutch.

My Take: I am ready to see Odenkirk kick some bad guy's butt.

Troubled teen Will Hawkins (Kevin Quinn) finds himself at a Christian summer camp. He thinks about running away, but then he meets Avery (Bailee Madison), and suddenly Will has a reason to stay. This camp is for a week, but it may change Will's life forever.     A Week Away Website

What to Watch For: The film features music from For King & Country, Amy Grant, Steven Curtis Chapman, and Michael W. Smith.

Word on the Street: Kevin Quinn is known for his role as Zander McCormick on the TV series Bunk'd.

My Take: I have been a fan of Bailee Madison since her role as Grace on the Hallmark Channel series Good Witch.

Chris (Eric André) and Bud (Lil Rel Howery) decide to go on a road trip to New York City to see an old flame or Chris's (Michaela Conlin). Unfortunately, they borrow Bud's sister's car (Tiffany Haddish), who finds out and breaks out of prison to get her car back from the guys.    Bad Trip Website

What to Watch For: The storyline is supported by shocking real pranks, 'Jackass' style.

Word on the Street: The director of the film, Kitao Sakurai, is known for his writing and directing on The Eric Andre Show.

My Take: We all fell in love with Lil Rel in the 2017 hit Get Out.


Six Minutes to Midnight  (2021) PG-13

In the summer of 1939, school teacher Thomas Miller (Eddie Izzard) takes a last-minute role teaching English at a finishing school on the South coast of England. What to Watch For: The outstanding cast includes Oscar-winners Judi Dench and Jim Broadbent, James D'Arcy, and David Schofield.

Word on the Street: The film is co-written by the star of the film, Eddie Izzard.

My Take: Being a history nut, I love movies about World War II

What to Watch For: The film won the Audience Award for Best Film at the 2020 Oldenburg Film Festival.

Word on the Street: The kidnapping's true story inspired the 2000 film Proof of Life, starring Meg Ryan and Russell Crowe.

My Take: This looks to be a fascinating documentary.

Documentary on the legendary performer Tina Turner. From her early days as the front-woman of Ike & Tina Turner to her solo career that had her given the name of 'The Queen of Rock 'n' Roll.'    Tina Website

What to Watch For: Angela Bassett, Oprah Winfrey, and Kurt Loder are just some of the artists and journalists interviewed in the film.

Word on the Street: The film is directed by Academy Award winners T. J. Martin and Daniel Lindsay.

My Take: I always wanted to see her in concert, but I guess I will have to make do with this documentary.
