The government is concerned about the Avengers and their activities, asking the Avengers to agree to give up control of their team. Could this cause a rift between Captain America and Iron Man? Will the Avengers split up?    "Captain America: Civil War" Website

What to Watch For:  The film is already doing amazing in Europe at the box office.

Word on the Street:  Tom Holland is making his first appearance in the film as Spider-Man.

My Take:  Most of the local critics in Atlanta saw the film last week, but they are going again at another screening.

"Dough"  (2015)

Nat (Jonathan Pryce) is a Jewish baker, whose shop has fallen on hard times.  His cliental has either died or moved away from his neighborhood, and his assistant quits. He hires a young Muslim, Shaun (Malachi Kirby), to help in the shop. At first, the two clash, but eventually mutual admiration and cooperation happens, changing both men. "Dough" Website

What to Watch For: The film played to a packed house at the 2015 Atlanta Jewish Film Festival.

Word on the Street: The director of the film, John Goldschmidt, is an award winning director of 21 TV movies and 3 feature films.

My Take:  Jonathan Pryce is one of the greatest actors on stage and in film. I wish he would do more film work.

"Older Than Ireland" (2015)

Documentary that tells the story of a hundred years of life seen through the eye of thirty Irish men and woman aged 100 and older. "Older Than Ireland" Website

What to Watch For:  The director Alex Fegan, also directed the documentary "The Irish Pub"  (2013).

Word on the Street:  The film has won a number of awards at film festivals including the Best Irish Feature Documentary at the 2015 Galway Film Festival.

My Take:  I have always wanted to go to Ireland, so I will not be missing this film.

"Steel Magnolias" (1989)   A close-knit circle of Southern women who live in Louisiana share the events in their lives as romances, marriages, births and deaths take place over the years.  Cast includes Shirley MacLaine, Olympia Dukakis, Sally Field and Julia Roberts.

3:30 pm

"Marley & Me" (2008) Newlyweds (Owen Wilson, Jennifer Aniston) adopt a cuddly and friendly puppy, but they soon learn that they have an incorrigible, head-strong and neurotic pooch as a member of their family.


1:00 pm

"A History of Violence" (2005)   A mild-mannered family man(Viggo Mortensen) becomes a hero when he kills two men as they attack his customers and attempt to rob his diner but his life takes a strange turn.

3:00 pm

"Domino" (2005)  Domino (Keira Knightley), the daughter of famed actor Laurence Harvey, rebels against convention and her jet-set lifestyle to find her niche as a Los Angeles bounty hunter.
