What to Watch For:  Marvel lists sixty-four main characters in the film.

Word on the Street:  The film is being released just a few days from the ten year anniversary of the first film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

My Take:  I can't wait to see this film.

The film opens nationwide on Friday.

Lean on Pete  (2017)  R

A troubled teen named, Charley (Charlie Plummer) starts working for a cantankerous horse trainer (Steve Buscemi). Charley falls in love with a quarterhorse named, Lean on Pete, that, if he doesn't start winning, the horse will be sold. Lean on Pete Website

What to Watch For:  The film has won numerous awards on the festival circuit including Best Young Actor for Charlie Plummer at the 2017 Venice Film Festival.

Word on the Street:  The film was shot in chronological order, a very rare thing in smaller films.

My Take:  I will see anything that Steve Buscemi is in.

The film opens in Atlanta area theatres on Friday.

Documentary looking at the German films produced under the reign of the Nazis in the 30a and 40s in Germany. Hitler's Hollywood Info

What to Watch For: The film's director, Rudiger Suchsland, is considered one of the world's greatest experts in the history of German cinema.

Word on the Street:  The film won Best Film at the 2018 FEST International Film Festival.

My Take:  I am interested in seeing how much the Nazi propaganda made it into the films of that era.

Grace Jones: Bloodlight and Bami  (2017)

Documentary on the life of the iconic singer Grace Jones. Jones first made headlines as a model, then moved into singing, and finally made her mark in movies. Grace Jones: Bloodlight and Bami Website

What to Watch For:  The film contains a number of concert videos from Jones world tours.

Word on the Street:  The title comes from two Jamaican words;  'Bloodlight' is the red light that illuminates when an artist is recording and 'Bami' means bread, the substance of life.

My Take:  Grace Jones has always fascinated me.

Roxanne  (1987)  A modern-day telling of Cyrano de Bergerac story; C.D. Bates (Steve Martin) who has an extremely large nose, falls in love with Roxanne (Daryl Hannah) but she is in love with another man.
