My Take: We know there are going to be deaths in this film, we just don't know how many.

Sunset (2018) R

What to Watch For: The film has done quite well on the festival circuit, winning Best Director at the Beijing International Film Festival.

Word on the Street: This was Hungary's submission for the Foreign Language Film Award at the 91st Academy Awards.

My Take: Co-writer/director Laszlo Nemes did the award-winning Son of Saul (2015).

Wild Nights with Emily (2018) PG-13

What to Watch For: The film was a two-time nominee at the 2018 American Film Festival.

Word on the Street: Writer/director Madeleine Olnek, is known for her dramatic films about women.

My Take: Molly Shannon has become a fine dramatic actor.

What to Watch For: This is Laura Steinel's directorial debut. Steinel also wrote the script.

Word on the Street: The film was nominated for American Independent Award at the 2018 AFI Fest.

My Take: The trailer makes this film look funny and amazing.
