My Take:  I'm excited to see Michael Fassbender in this movie.

Everything, Everything  (2017)

What to Watch For:  The film is based on the bestselling young adult novel by Nicola Yoon.

Word on the street: Amanda Stenberg won the 2016 BET YoungStars Award.

My Take:  The film is directed by Stella Meghie, who also directed 2016 Atlanta Film Festival favorite Jean of the Joneses  (2016).

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul  (2017)

What to Watch For:  Alicia Silverstone and Tom Everett Scott play Greg's parents.

Word on the Street:  This is the 5th Wimpy Kid film in the series.

My Take:  This is the third Wimpy Kid film that co-writer David Bowers has directed.

The Lovers  (2017)

Michael (Tracy Letts) and Mary (Debra Winger) are in a marriage that has seen better days. Both of them are having affairs, and as soon as their son finishes his visit, they are going to break up. What to Watch For:  The film is written and directed by Azazel Jacobs, the award-winning director of Terri (2011).

Word on the Street:  The film is currently at 87% on Rotten Tomatoes.

My Take:  I always enjoy watching Debra Winger on the screen.

Graduation  (2016)

Romeo (Adrian Titieni) has raised his daughter, Eliza (Maria-Victoria Dragus), with the idea of her going to college. After she gets assaulted a day before her final exams, her scholarship could be in jeopardy. Graduation Website

What to Watch For:  The writer/director of the film, Cristian Munglu, won Best Director at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival.

Word on the Street:  The film is at 97% on Rotten Tomatoes.

My Take:  This looks to be another winning film out of Romania.

David Lynch: The Art Life  (2016)

What to Watch For:  The film was nominated for Best Documentary at the 2016 London Film Festival.

Word on the Street:  This is the first film for directors Jon Nguyen, Rick Barnes

My Take:  This is the perfect time to see this film, with Lynch's Twin Peaks series coming out.

Jeremiah Tower: The Last Magnificent  (2016)

What to Watch For:  Anthony Bourdain is a producer on the film and also provides commentary throughout.

Word on the Street:  Mario Batali and Martha Stewart are among the celebrities interviewed.

My Take:  I love a good documentary.
