'Last Vegas' to Film in Atlanta

Well, this is not your typical casting call. The film Last Vegas which stars Robert De Niro, Michael Douglas, Morgan Freeman, Kevin Kline and Mary Steenburgen will begin production in Atlanta and Las Vegas, and scouts are searching for Atlanta homes to use for exterior and interior shots.

East Atlanta Patch reports:

Maughon said he is looking for three specific home types:

  • uber modern
  • 1970s split-level ranch
  • an interior that looks like that of a traditional brownstone

Hmm, my home definitely doesn't fit the description, but if you think your house matches it, then you can email Danny Maughon, the location scout for CBS Films, at pdmedia@mindspring.com. According to East Atlanta Patch, "he is not authorized to release many details about the film except that the Atlanta scenes are expected to be shot starting in November under director Jon Turtletaub." You can also call Maughon at 678.612.2010.

They're searching right away, so act now for the opportunity to have Robert De Niro (or other famous feet) touch your living room carpet.

In addition to casting split-level ranches, they also need some talented bodies. Project Casting is looking to fill principal roles for Last Vegas.

If you think this is The Departed part 2, then you're in for a surprise. Here's the movie description: Four best friends in their late-60's decide to escape retirement and throw a Las Vegas bachelor party for the only one of them who has remained single.

Sound like something you would watch? Is your home "uber" modern?
