HBCU Football: The Path to "Celebration"

Last year in Historically Black College and University (HBCU) Football, Atlanta was the epi-center in the declaration of a National Champion with the "Air Force Reserve Celebration Bowl". With such a successful event last season, with all the pageantry and flare, fans are eagerly anticipating this contest which is scheduled to take place December 17th, 2016 at Noon.

HBCU Football has always been a staple in the community but with the "Celebration Bowl" displaying the 41-34 of the MEAC Champion North Carolina A&T Aggies over the SWAC Champion Alcorn State Braves, the level of attention has definitely increased. Sports Radio 92.9 The Game in conjunction with several game sponsors including "100 Black Men of Atlanta, the Atlanta Falcons, and others did a masterful job presenting this product to the masses.

This year we hope to bring even more exposure to HBCU Football with "The Path to Celebration". This blog and podcast will cover the happenings of HBCU Football of those that hope to play in Atlanta and those programs that are gems to their state and region. Most programs start kicking off next Saturday and we will have scores and highlights for you to see how your teams are shaping up in their division, conference, and possibly bowl races.
