Tweets of the Week (Aug 4 - Aug 10)

Welcome to the Best Tweets of the Week! Stop by every week to see a compilation of CW star tweets — sometimes hilarious and other times cool (set photos, series hints and more!)

Officially, Kelly Rutherford from Gossip Girl has become my new favorite tweeter. She never fails to share instagram pics of actors on-set. Ed Westwick looking absolutely dashing in a snazzy suit? Yes! Chase Crawford just standing around looking handsome? Thanks to Kelly Rutherford, it's possible to see both.

The CW stars that made the list:

  • Arrow: Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen), Colin Donnell (Tommy Merlyn)
  • Gossip Girl: Kelly Rutherford (Lily van der Woodsen)
  • Hart of Dixie: Jamie King (Lemon Breeland), Scott Porter (George Tucker), Deborah S. Craig (Shelley Ng), Ross Philips (Tom Long)
  • Nikita: Devon Sawa (Owen Elliot)
  • Supernatural: Jared Padalecki (Sam), Misha Collins (Castiel)
  • The Vampire Diaries: Ian Somerhalder (Damon Salvatore), Candice Accola (Caroline Forbes), Claire Holt (Rebekah), Joseph Morgan (Klaus), Nina Dobrev (Elena Gilbert), Michael Trevino (Tyler Lockwood), Paul Wesley (Stefan Salvatore)

Do you still have Olympic fever? These CW Stars sure did.

On-set pics of Gossip Girl, and of course, cast photos, including a TVD star with the mega-hit singer Kelly Clarkson:

Stars have fun, not just on-set:

I've attended Lollapolooza, the Chicago music festival, for the past three years. This was the first year I did not go, and a storm blew in, shutting down the park. Yikes! But safety first, especially with the Indiana stage collapse that happened just last year due to strong winds.

A star actually joined Facebook! Another got his very first FB fan page. Find out which actors are consuming an extra dose of social media:

That's it, lovely readers. Stop by next week for more tweets! Which was your favorite?
