Used mostly during Prohibition from 1920 to 1933, the term speakeasy referred to bars that were illegally selling alcohol. The term today refers to bars and lounges that have a retro or 1920s look or feel to them. Speakeasies were found mainly in rural or secret places, but today these bars are popular in urban area and big cities like Atlanta. Here are some great Atlanta bars that offer a retro speakeasy feel along with great food and drink.
