Dozens Dead After Truck Plows Into Crowd In Nice, France

NICE, France (CBS4) - CBS News reports dozens of people were killed when a truck plowed into a crowd in southern France.

Several others who were celebrating Bastille Day are also injured.

Nice mayor Christian Estrosi tweeted that at least 70 are dead as a result of a possible attack, calling it the "worst tragedy in the history of Nice."

"Tonight at 10:30 pm a crazy truck drove at high speed on the crowd on the Promenade to watch the fireworks from July 14," the mayor said on Twitter.
