      Shirley Temple, America's first child star, dies at 85

      |Shirley Temple Black, whose upbeat and bubbly films provided joy to Americans during the Great Depression, died Monday night at the age of 85. She began her career in 1932, went on to break hearts and help break the color barrier and later served as a U.S. ambassador. Ben Tracy reports.
