Georgia’s “Hicks Babies” adoptees search for answers
A family physician who performed illegal abortions in the 50’s and 60’s in McCaysville, Georgia, also delivered babies and sold them to couples in off-the-books adoptions. One woman is now organizing DNA testing, using more precise analysis she believes can lead to family matches. Jeff Glor reports.
