Deer ticks suspected of spreading rare disease
Borrelia miyamotoi shares many similarities with Lyme disease and may have caused infection in recent years without being recognized. Researchers have found the bacteria in two percent of deer ticks, while Lyme is present in twenty. Dr. Jon LaPook reports.
