Boehner: "Appropriate" for House to defend DOMA
After the Obama administration declined to continue defending the Defense of Marriage Act in court, the House took up the cause "to protect the Constitution and our system of checks and balances," House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, said Thursday.
