With 44 days left in the presidential race, Mitt Romney is forced into recovery mode after a rough week on the campaign trail. Nancy Cordes reports on Romney's attempts to reconnect with voters and donors; And, California could become the fifth state to eliminate the death penalty, if voters there approve one of the most closely watched measures on the November ballot.
