With 44 days left in the presidential race, Mitt Romney is forced into recovery mode after a rough week on the campaign trail. Nancy Cordes reports on Romney's attempts to reconnect with voters and donors; And, California could become the fifth state to eliminate the death penalty, if voters there approve one of the most closely watched measures on the November ballot. Workers searched through what was left of Plaza Towers Elementary School, which was demolished by the tornado in Moore, Okla.
