Why cant half the public see that Romney is nothing more than a lying used car saleman spewing out BS that changes constantly according to what he thinks people want to hear at the time. He has a phoney tv announcer voice and should have been a newscaster in Salt Lake City.

Why can't people see this??? It is so amazingly clear!!!

His simplistic foreign policy basically consists of punishing any region in the world that doesn't "share our values" (code for Christian).

He is so amazingly full of shiite!!!!

We don't need another Simpleton-in-Chief embarrassing this country and ruining the economy and the world the way moron Bush and venal Cheny did.

DEFENSE RELATED SPENDING IT IS BLEEDING AMERICA DRY.

$1.110-$1.505 trillion These figures DO NOT included additional Classified programs that the public isn't privy too.

Those numbers aren't Billions or even hundreds of Billions...it is One to One and a half Trillion dollars per year. These figures DO NOT included additional Classified programs that the public isn't privy too.

Americans are led to believe that the Defense Budget was about $550 billion for 2011 and the same for 2012 but that isn't the case. The rest is put or hidden in other federal programs and budgets including a completely separate budget for Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

Including non-DOD expenditures, defense spending was approximately 28-38% of all budgeted expenditures and 42-57% of the total estimated income tax revenues of the ENTIRE COUNTRY. According to the Congressional Budget Office, defense spending grew 9% annually on average from fiscal year 2000-2009 while our wages went DOWN. At the same time we paid AN ADDITIONAL 1 TRILLION dollars for the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

The 2009 U.S. military budget accounts for approximately 40% of global arms spending and was over six times larger than the military budget of China (who had the 2nd highest budget in the world) and 10 times more than Israel The United States and its close allies are responsible for two-thirds to three-quarters of the world's military spending, and America pays the lion share.

Instead of considering important budget changes the Senate and Congress spent two months this year fighting over raising the debt ceiling and cutting every other program with most of the attention on social programs. WHY? To keep Americans from figuring out the truth. Since 9/11 Americans have been scared into believing we need to spend, spend, spend to prevent another attack on the U.S and to defend the world from Terrorism. Defense is HUGH business run by the CIA and the Joint Chiefs of Staff since 9/11 (and before that) without Oversight. It is hidden from the American public behind the phrase "It is a matter of National Security". Roughly 70% of our defense budget is paid to private contractors...........and Who are these contractors.........ex-CIA and Military.

The US Government Accountability Office and Chief Financial Officer and Under Secretary of Defense acknowledge widespread problems with defense spending systems and processes. The DoD's Inspector General reported major internal control weaknesses ... that affect the safeguarding of assets, proper use of funds, and impair the prevention and identification of fraud, waste, and abuse. In other words defense spending is out of control and the Inmates are running the Asylum. So why hasn't the Congress, Senate and our President done anything about it?

AND THAT IS HOW and WHY DEFENSE RELATED SPENDING IS BLEEDING AMERICA DRY. IF IT KEEPS GOING THERE WON'T BE AN AMERICA TO DEFEND!!!

Defense-related expenditure 2012 Budget request & Mandatory spending Calculation
DOD spending $707.5 billion Base budget + "Overseas Contingency Operations" which is the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan
FBI counter-terrorism $2.7 billion At least one-third FBI budget.
State Department and International Affairs $7.6-$63.0 billion At minimum, foreign military support. At most, entire budget is defense related
Energy Department, defense-related $21.8 billion
Veterans Affairs $70.0 billion
Homeland Security $46.9 billion Defense related budget
NASA, satellites $3.5-$8.7 billion Between 20% and 50% of NASA's total budget
Veterans pensions $54.6 billion
Other defense-related mandatory spending $8.2 billion
NATIONAL INTELLIGENCE PROGRAM and MILITARY
INTELLIGENCE PROGRAM $80 billion CIA and Military Intelligence Agency
Interest on debt incurred in past wars $109.1-$431.5 billion Between 23% and 91% of total interest
Total Spending $1.110-$1.505 trillion + These figures DO NOT included additional Classified programs that the public isn't privy too.

Romney's unprepared for anything but hiding profits and tax reports, outsourcing money to offshore accounts and bank jobs with them. The "liberal" governor of Mass, turned Rightie in the primaries, then morphing into a Centrist, then a Rightie reborn, later a whoknowswhat. Romney jerks like a windshield wiper. Liar on economy, education, jobs, health, immigration, defense, trashing Obama or anything. Unfit for the WH.

All you leftie professional bloggers! Get a real job.

Romney is anathema to you because he is a good, honest man that gives to the poor, is successful business and political leader and will be the President-elect come November; unlike, the coke snorting, terrorist befriending, Krony-Capitalist/Socialist that occupies the White House right now who has never done anything without it being ultimately about him.

Romney is a real leader. By doping the dems again, he released his taxes, showing, once again, his success and charity!!!

When will the racial quota beneficiary that currently is in the White House release his school records. He won't? Because if he couldn't have checked the box in school, he would be teaching at a community college now. Oh, btw his mom was white. How did he make law review -- it wasn't his grades!!! At least there you can ask some of his previous class mates.

Yes, once again, leftie policies continue to make us drown in a pool of intellectual vomit, reduce freedoms, and remand us to economic woe (see Jimmy Carter/Obama).

It will be fun come Jan. 20, 2013 to have Romney,a person who can command and organize in the White House, and Obama can retire back to Hawaii to play his 9,999th round of golf. At least there he can only fundamentally change his golf score and not screw up the country any more.

Anyone who thinks that a President needs to pray to god, or mention him in a speech needs to learn what it means to be a American.

The First Amendment to the United States Constitution provides that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof ...." and Article VI specifies that "no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.

I feel those who use god as a crutch to try and gain a positive selfish want (like getting elected president) are a hypocrite and a liar.

All Obama cares about are left-wing social policies, which is why he focused on government takeover of healthcare and gays being open in the military for the first 2 - 3 years of his presidency. It's also why the Democratic Convention was an abortion and homosexuality extravaganza. He could care less about economics, families and jobs.

I pray, believe in God and am a spiritual person, but I don't believe that a candidate saying he prays every night makes him qualified to lead our country. A person's character, intelligence and compassion are the most important characteristics. Romney says he prays every night, but that doesn't mean he isn't arrogant, lies and is out to promote ideals that aren't good for all of America. Please, be thoughtful with your choice of president everyone.
