"Common Core" raising the bar on education standards

In the most recent survey of 34 developed nations, the U.S. ranked 14th in reading and 25th in math. In response, students in many states will be required to meet "Common Core" academic standards over the next several years. Tammy Leitner reports from Los Angeles, where the new curriculum is in effect.
