http://politicalgroove.com/2012/09/a-12-year-olds-letter-to-romney-your-plan-for-america-isnt-what-we-need.html? And, and, Romney said the biggest problem in a distressed aircraft is that "the windows don't open. I don't know why they don't do that. It's a real problem. So it's very dangerous." "You can't find any oxygen from outside the aircraft to get in the aircraft, because the windows don't open."

The AARP people did right to boo Lyin' Ryan. He was lucky to get off so lightly.

Ryan is of course, part of the far-right conspiracy to destroy the entire "safety net" for those who are old, sick, or down on their luck: Medicare; Medicaid; Social Security; and food stamps. It's no secret: you can read about it on any one of hundreds of far-right web sites. It never occurs to smug, callous Republicans that one day they may be old, sick and unlucky too. They all imagine they are going to be tax-free billionaires. I have news for them: it's not going to happen.

Anyone who believes Ryan's absurd claims to be "reforming" or even "saving" Medicare is a gullible simpleton. All that stuff is just the "thin end of the wedge". Voucherization is a big first step towards the destruction of Medicare.

That's why Romney and Ryan are called "V and V": Vulture and Voucher.

That's also why Romney disparages the "47%". He's softening people up for the day when America will let people starve and freeze in large numbers in the streets (it already happens to smaller numbers every year. He's doing it by disparaging, demonizing the 47% as moochers, when they are in fact mostly working poor, military, veterans and retirees.

It's really sad to read this posts. People are being sold a bill of goods. There is good reason why the majority of folks oppose Obamacare. The main reason is it just too costly & will break th country. The Obama admin said it would cost less than one trillion over 10 years. the figure 870 billion comes to mind. The congressional budget office calucated its cost as 2.1 trillion..That fact exposes the big lie. They say the insurance cos have made too much money.. Look up Humana, United Health, Medica, Blue cross &see their profits.vs revenue. They make 3-5% as they have to be competitive with each other. Look a govt run medicare.. It cost 500 billion dollars of which 50 -80 billion is wasted or stolen..That is over l0%.. I'll vote for a competitive ins industry vs govt run anything. Does anyone believe the govt can run things better the private sector.. Look at the waste in GSA, the DOD; the EPa, the DOE just to name a few. The DOE was started under Carter to solve our energy problems.. in side of 3 yrs they had an annual budget bigger than ALL the oil co profits. Now that takes some doing.. but govt is great at spending other peoples money only not very efficently.

Seniors of tomorrow are not going to accept this plan, no matter what today's Congress votes to take away from them. This is more kicking the can down the road to try to convince the people to keep taxes low, pile on the debt and let the people of tomorrow pay for it. Raise Taxes Now. Those who paid the historically low tax rates from Reagan thru today got a great deal. Some might call it a steal.

AARP is mainly made up of liberals who embrace all of Obama's policies. Conservatives left it long ago.
