Romney: If my grandkids were gay, "I'd want them to be happy"

Asked at Univision's "Meet the Candidates" forum in Coral Gables, Fla., on Wednesday what advice he'd give his kids or grandkids if any of them were gay, Mitt Romney joked that all his sons "are married, so I'd be surprised," but added he has grandkids, "and of course I'd want them to be happy."

I do not like Romney or Obama...Obama did nothing to the economy or to the employment! Many companies in California, LEFT California in the last 4 yrs! Thank you very much Mr President!

Now for Gov. Romney, you cannot deny or limit or sacrifice same-sex marriage, or union, or partnership for your opinion! You cannot dictate what we should be and what we should not be...

...and don't you *DARE* alter the CONSTITUTION or BILL OF RIGHTS!!!

What's with this gotcha crap? He's a Mormon! Mormons believe in sex between a man & a woman in the context of marriage. Are the reporters that stupid? What does it matter how he'd react if his kid was gay? This is just left-wing nonsense. Did somebody create a law that said homosexuality must be morally approved as an action? Or that a president must approve of it to qualify? This is sheer idiocy.

Actually Romney's response to the question was reasonable and fair minded, however if you're an undecided Independent voter it is difficult to know if the answer given represents Mitt's true feelings on the matter. As we have all seen demonstrated recently, Mitt's beliefs change dramatically when safely behind closed doors with his own species, rather like watching a snake shed his skin.

1. I like he pretends to be listening to the Spanish speaking interpreter, but is concentrating real hard so he can look at him, but listen to the English speaking women.

For you idiots that pander to left he didn't say they were married so they weren't gay, he said, "my kids are married, so i'd be surprised". He also said that he agrees gays should have similar or same rights but just not to call it marriage. Does it matter if it is domestic partnership or marriage just so you have the same rights? Or are you so hung up over the word marriage that you would throw it all away just for a f'ing word. How pathetic.
