Israel needs a plane capable of delivering a huge bunker buster bomb (like the MOP).

Those who want to bomb Iran right now, are obviously people who do not believe in waiting till the last resort for war. Such people should kill themselves before their worldviews result in the deaths of innocents.

Both comments before me are ridiculous. You speak of war as if it is a videogame. War is what has brought Iran to this point. The continued bullying and interference by the US (since the 50s...); the continued aggressive posture of Israel.

What's wrong with defending oneself? No one has more nukes than the US and Russia and at the end of the day, if Iran did decide in mutual destruction via nuclear attack, their fully signing their own death certificate.

The cities of the world are highly developed...even in third-world countries. Many people die when bombs drop... Why would anyone want so many to die. If you care about Israel, stop provoking a clearly superior Iran. Yes, Israel may have more advanced weapons, thanks to US taxpayers, but who wants their own people to die?

If we limit our bombing campaign to only Iran's nuclear facilities, then I agree that bombing Iran is useless, however, if we commit to a long-term, extensive bombing campign that aims to dismantle Iran's ability to function as a nation like, destroying every bridge in the county, every electric power plant and substation, all telephone exchanges, every cell tower, sink their entire navy, destroy their entire airforce (and let their neighbors know that we will target Iranian aircraft that flee into neighboring nations), destroy their ability to extract, refine and transport carbon-based fuels, destroy every TV station and transmission tower, and also 1/2 of their grain reserves while enforcing a complete sea blockade, then Iran will cry uncle just like the Serbs, and will also throw off the ayatollahs and sincerely come to the bargaining table. Even if they don't, faced with such destruction, with their cash reserves gone and their credit and cash streams (legitimate streams) frozen, the Iranians will have to make tough choices like, "do we restore electircal power and sewer services or do we build nuclear weapons. We control the credit markets and international finance so they will have to deal with us.

With all due respect, this man is acting against Israel Interests.
It is unheardof that a former head of CIA/KGB/MI6 will go after public relations campaign though media & press to gain some political power.
what a shame.
It is a fact, that Iran is rushing like a lunatic towards many nuclear bombs production capability. lately it was reported they had more then doubled their centrifuges, they are openly saying their goal is as that
of Hitler. West must act NOW!
