The Chief of Britain's Secret Intelligence Service, MI6, complained that his spies don't get paid enough and that this is making them unwilling 'to go the extra mile' when on assignment. Many are tempted to seek 'less risky' work in the private sector. As Simon Bates reports, it shouldn't be money that motivates a budding James Bond.
