More Americans than ever are buying their kids school supplies online. But, many retailers are aiming to buck that trend. Alexis Christoforous reports on how some retailers are luring frugal customers off-line and into stores.

- would think online is more convenient. it saves driving to/from, parking problems, traffic nightmares at times. online shopping has your purchases delivered right to your door. would think most online sellers have bigger inventory. and if you don't like one site, a shopper clicks to another rather then having to get in your car and driving to another location. unless retailer is a big box store, it doesn't have great selections nor good prices. no once can compete with big box stores, no one, and even they have online shopping and shipping.
