
Ryan slams Obama's "imaginary recovery"

During a Roanoke, Va., campaign stop Wednesday, Republican VP candidate Paul Ryan mocked President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden for predicting 2011 would yield a "summer of recovery."

Ryan, do you suppose our fragile economy might have anything to do with all the many different things you and Mitch McConnell and John Boehner and Eric Cantor have spent the past four years doing to try to MAKE our economy fragile so that your candidate has some chance of defeating him in November?

- No honest discussion can be had on the lack of progress of the economy and President Obama without also talking about the role deliberate, unyielding sabotaging obstruction by republicans has played. Absent that the discussion is dishonest and bogus.

- The American worker would not need to look to governmant for aid if corporate America would stop off-shoring American wealth and American employment opportunities.

- Ryan is doing a great job as vp candidate. He is tearing obama to shreds, but manages to seem both thoughtful and nice while he does it.
