Anybody else bummed out about PBS being cut? I mean, how am I supposed to listen to NPR? or learn about literature with Wishbone, or study science with ZOOM? or understand friendship with Arthur?

Seriously though. Romney = Anti Everything Creative Robot! Is that money going to art? DESTROY! NPR? DESTROY! Barney?? ***? DESTROY DESTROY DESTROYYY!

...Actually, I'd be alright if they got rid of Barney, he replaced Super Mario Brothers: the cartoon when I was a kid. Now, that's some real bull...

Romney likes business though. You gotta give him that. He does like to talk some mean facts and figgers. But let's be honest you sniveling patriots, you lackluster loons, you foul-mouthed, fester-filled, fudge eaters... He's like the Lion in the Wizard of Oz. HE'S GOT NO HEART I TELLS YA! NO HEART!

Dear Gov. Romney & Rep. Ryan,

I agree with you 100% that we must protect the promise of America including freedom, liberty and opportunity for future generations. I agree that hard work and dedication should determine a person's worth and those looking for a government handout should be suspect. I agree that government should be limited to it's responsibility to the people and duty under the constitution and held responsible when it violates that duty. That is exactly why I am not voting for either of you.

I totally bought in to the Reagan plan for prosperity. I believed that if I worked hard in support of the people able to finance and grow America that as they rose in wealth my boat would also float higher. However, the reality has never matched the rhetoric.

As I dedicated myself to the trickle down ideal and gave my youth and effort to cubical confinement, the following is what I have experienced and noticed:

- As your cronies gained in wealth their boats got larger and larger and floated higher while the greater majority's situation began to stagnate.

- As your wealth grew, the magnitude was no longer acceptable so it became necessary to send American work off-shore and then proceed to rationalize this apparent necessity by blaming the displaced for not having the motivation to work.

- New and unique ways were invented to stagnate and rob 401K's and investments while huge salaries were channeled to the innovators and creators of the deception while also inventing derogatory terms like Muppets and Aunt Millie for the working life blood channeled to your accounts.

- When events made it necessary to defend America and call for sacrifice your cronies in their infinite wisdom determined it was now time for tax breaks that by percentage benefited the wealthiest allowing the disparity between have and have-not to grow to historic levels.

- With unfunded wars, reduced revenue and a growing government deficit it was once again necessary to find blame with the displaced because of their apparent ever-growing dependence on government.

- With depleted employment and reduced revenue the government deficit grew and once again it became necessary to blame the now growing displaced Americans as the responsible ingrates because they apparently are no longer of value to your personal wealth objectives.

- As emphasis grows abroad and revenue resources diminish it is now becoming necessary to deny the need to improve America's infrastructure and education, nevertheless, pointing the sons and daughter of these same displaced and rejected Americans to defend the growing interests abroad as the remaining value you wish to capitalize on.

I could cite additional examples, however, this alone is enough for me to proclaim I will not vote for either of you because it is my belief that your belief is that America's opportunities belong to only you and your cronies and nobody else. When I was deprived of work and opportunity I would have been much worse off if not for the government I love and the democratically minded who understood and empathized with my situation. If government obligations are growing in an uncontrolled manner as you proclaim, it is your greedy policies that are to blame. Inventing terms like right-to-work and then denying employment represents the insanity of your thought process. Your desire to control government means people like me are at your disposal and reducing regulation translates to more deceptive investment strategies along with more worker and environmental exploitation.

If you want me to vote for you next time around it is necessary for you to demonstrate your value to society. Using your wealth to create greater than subsistence level employment and making government protections stronger and more efficient is a necessary first step. I will not vote to place me and my family at your mercy so that you and your cronies can enjoy the better life at the expense of someone else.

Regards,
Strongly Independent American Voter

Have you all noticed how it seems that the conservative thinkers are coming out in DROVES now to be heard? I think you liberals really need to examine your positions. The man who YOU elected to OUR White House is SUPREMELY UNQUALIFIED to sit in that oval office. He used his "kenyan born" statement on college applications so that he could curry favor and be accepted when it would benefit him and spent MILLIONS hiding his transcripts from the public when being "kenyan born" wouldnt work to become president. He is a village idiot, an ACCIDENT. We need to unceremoniously kick him and his racist wife out of OUR White House. He doesnt deserve the office and his wife is no "first lady". She herself treats her position as her personal bank account. If this was going in a private sector business, he and his wife would be arrested for using company funds for illegal trips and benefits. But because he is black no one is touching him for fear of the race card rearing its ugly head. Romney was already called racist for saying Obama was negative in his messages to the American people.
The truth is, Romney and Ryan are a good, CLEAN, emphasis on that word, CLEAN, ticket. Opponents have to invent dirt and overly parse their words to suggest ill-spoken comment. You cant find where Mitt nor Paul cheated on their wives because they HAVENT! You cant find where they cheated on income tax returns because they HAVENT. Obama is your typical sleazy, say-whatever-works socialist.
I cannot wait to wake up november 3rd and see that Obama has been beaten in a landslide unlike any other.

The Republicans lost all credibility of being fiscal conservatives during the Bush administration, so much so, the Democrats can make Obama's protection of criminal bank activities look like a victory for the people. It is amazing to learn anyone is listening to anything either side has to say. We need a complete housecleaning after this slow-motion economic train wreck.

Romney, Ryan, and Republicans are not telling seniors the true. The savings achieved in Medicare through the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) would help stabilize Medicare by eliminating fraud & overpayments to private insurances, hospital, and pharmaceutical that encourages greater efficiency. As a result, the law extends the life of the Medicare trust fund by eight years and allows seniors to retain all of their guaranteed Medicare benefits. Medicare beneficiaries are already paying less for prescription drug coverage--Pharmaceutical manufacturers are required to provide a 50% discount on prescriptions filled in the Medicare Part D coverage gap. Seniors have already saved $3.5 billion on prescription drug costs thanks to the Affordable Care Act provision and receiving preventive care as a result of the law, while enrollment in Medicare Advantage has increased and premiums have fallen. The law, in other words, does exactly the opposite of Republicans claim: it expands Medicare "as we know it." ACA do not take money out of Medicare beneficiary but it stabilize the Medicare program and it adds 8 years to Medicare life, and that is the fact that Republican try to spin and lie about it. {think progress}

If Romney repeals the ACA, it would bring back the Medicare-doughnut hole and have seniors pay 50% more for their prescription drug and health prevention services. Also, Romney would eliminate 8 years Medicare life that Mr. Obama instilled it into the program.

Romney & Ryan would take $716 billion dollars out of Medicare beneficiary and convert Medicare into a voucher / coupon and have seniors pay $6400 out of pocket and receive less medical services, in order to pay for millionaires and billionaires tax cut. Therefore, Mr. Romney & Ryan Medicare plan do not control cost or extend the life of Medicare but they will bankrupt Medicare in 4 years according to Medicare expert.

I wish your interviewers and others would hold candidates feet to the fire when they offhandedly throw out tax cuts and increased defense spending as pillars of their campaign. Ask them how tax cuts and a 50% increase in defense spending (from 2000 to 2008) increased jobs and made our economy stronger. Too often, a question is asked and the candidate immediately answers an unasked question and the interviewer never brings them back, no matter how uncomfortable, to the original question!!

As an independent, I am beyond frustrated w/ both sides lack of willingness to balance the budget and put us on a course for long term fiscal success.

Howdy Free Thinkers!

I've been telling folks that, after all of the politically incorrect gaffs that he has made as of late, that they would try to replace Joe Biden with Hillary Clinton on the ticket as Vice President.

However, in a brilliant political move, before the White House could get its ducks in line, John McCain and Sarah Palin both announced publicly, on national television, that they thought the president should get rid of Joe and replace him with Hillary.

Consider for a minute what a brilliant republican strategy that announcement was. With a couple of well placed interviews they had backed the White House unto a corner; if the president swapped Biden for Hillary he would look as if he was admitting the republicans were right and that that Biden had done, do nothing and remained "chained" to Joe Biden and all the goofiness and negative press that went along with it.

Can I call it or what!? According to these sources the White House approach Hillary with the idea but she turned them down! Why?

Quote: "Klein said she cited two reasons: "

1. ".... she didn't want to be tied to Obama's left-leaning politics in her own 2016 bid"

2. "..... if Obama loses, she would be tarred as a loser."

WOW!! Obama is considered TOO FAR LEFT for the CLINTONS ?

Tell me that doesn't speaks volumes about our president..
STILL, I will not shocked to hear it when Joe Biden suddenly announces that, due to "health reasons" , "To spend more time with the family" or, for some other obviously fabricated reason, he declines the vice presidential nomination.

The only question is, who will step up to the plate? Will Hillary suddenly have a change of heart decide to step up anyway "For the good of the country"?

Thoughts???
