August 12, 2012 2:08 PM

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney and his newly chosen running mate Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., answered critics who say Ryan's Medicare plan will hurt the ticket's chances, especially in Florida. The pair sat down with "Face the Nation" anchor Bob Schieffer for their first joint interview which will be broadcast tonight on "60 Minutes" at 7 p.m. ET.

Amazing how he (Romney) continues to repeat the same nonsense, no matter how many times it's debunked. I am insulted. If Obama didn't do what he did, Medicare would have gone broke in 2016. This whole election is shameful. Romney is a parrot for anyone he happens to be in the room with at the time. The man doesn't have the guts to share an original thought. At least George Bush had strong convictions as to why he made the decisions he did, even if they were terrible.

Ryan is so radical; I would like him questioned, under TRUTH SERUM.

Ryan should be asked if he belongs to the secret, radical catholic sub-cult, OPUS DEI.

OPUS DEI had FBI Agent, Robert Hanssen, spying for Russia.

Beware of cultists lusting for power.

What kind of party culls voters from the rolls when there is no fraud as a reason. What if Bush had been successful in privatizing social security? Romney was 49th in creating jobs as Governor of Massachusetts. The Koch Brothers want the entire social safety net and systems stripped out of American Government, Who set up the Depression, Republicans ,who set up this crash, the Republicans.Who spent 10 of the 15 trillion deficit Republicans.Ryan has forced the government to a stand still.Florida your white sand beaches are going to be covered in Republican oil.

The $700 million dollar medicare cut Governor Romney refers o resulted from cost savings.

It should also be noted that this money was used to close the prescription drug loophole.

Obama is trying to fix all that was broken before he got into office. This country was f'd way before by greed, hate and entitlement. He is the trauma surgeon stepping in to stop the bleeding and do damage control....and that costs a lot of money. Any repairs on anything cost a lot of money and that coupled with the republican resistance to any/all of his changes (even if it was their idea)is pure hatred for the man, unbelievable stupidity, and NOT love for the country but love for their own republican kind. That is why things are still f'd up. They can prioritize billions spent on a bogus war/death but not on real people/life? That is pure evil. Romney and Ryan are here to continue the insanity of blood sucking the people to keep America in a non-progressive state and keep the 1% fat and happy while others starve and die. It will not happen. We, the people, will not allow it. Obama is about to rip new ones during the debates when all truths shall be revealed. Bye haters.

LISTEN to the facts that Ryan presents. This man isn't on the Budget Committee for nothing. He understands economics and thwarts those who are puppeting what they've been told to say with real hard facts. Americans are watching much more intently than the media think. Obama has ramrodded this nation with socialistic implementation which cannot last. The bubble will break. We cannot keep plummeting into trillion dollar deficits. Government cannot grow any more, it needs to diminish!!!
If we don't pay attention to the three big E's, economics, energy, and environment, we are doomed. SOMEBODY needs to have the courage to say CUT, CUT, CUT and PRESERVE!!! Get the f at cats OUT!! CBS, are you too liberal, too? Who's got your back? Report FACTS for a change.

Romney and Ryan. AKA Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum! Romney may gain some knowledge from Ryan, but nothing the other way around, but they still are two of a kind. Obama will win in a walk as a result. Good for him!
