It's unbelievable that police, judges and prosecutors can be so wrong causing innocent people to spend time in prison for crimes they did not commit. I believe the state should have to pay all three of these innocent men for wrongful confinement and that, still would not be justice. I'm not sure who are the most EVIL, our legal system or serial killers. Both SHOULD NEVER EVER HAPPEN!!! The real killer of these three little boys is still out there perhaps still killing! Lord help us all.

How can police do such a horrible work???? How can they blame that teenagers only for being different??? It is unbelievable!!!!!!!! Even they decided not consider ADN evidences. Is that justice???? We should think if we have to fear criminals or we have to fear police..........And the plea guilty was an offence.......Do they truly believe people don't know what a big mistake they made???? They cannot sue them but it's a shame. The state should be sued. They have lost almost 20 years behind bars....

These three kids were sent to jail simply because they were different. And for that reason only. It's obvious to me that NO ONE thought they really were guilty. Not a single person did. But they were different. I lived in a small town in KY, actually directly adjacent to Owensboro, where Johnny Depp is from. I know what it's like to have people judge you because you're not the same as all of the country boys and girls you're surrounded by. You wear all black? Automatically a Satan worshipper.
Okay, well, even saying these guys WERE Satan worshippers. Not only did the CASE have no ties to such a thing, but even if they were, that does not make them guilty of murder.
The majority of this community was so willing to be rid of these three 'nuisances' that they let a real monster walk scott-free. None of the actions displayed by the justice system and police officers even began to do justice for the three children whose lives were lost that day.
This case, to me, is reminicent of Brandon Teena's. He was a young transgender man from Humbolt, Nebraska (another sheltered, itsy-bitsy bigoted community) who was raped and murdered. The way the police handled his case was disgusting, and in this instance the murder could have been actually PREVENTED. It reminds me of this, because, like in the case of the WM3, EVIDENCE WAS (convienently) LOST. I don't doubt for a second that this was an accident in either case. Listen to the police tapes from this instance, and tell me the police officer questioning him does not completely get off to the crime that was done against Brandon. How he was not stripped of his badge is a mystery to me. The police believed Brandon deserved to be raped, and wasn't about to let any of their good ol' boys go to jail over it. As a result, several people lost their lives later on, including Brandon's.

In the WM3's case, the officers did not want to entertain the notion of any other suspects, and they didn't want these 'satan worshippers' back on their streets. They absolutely deserve the right to have their names cleared, and to sue the **** out of the state. No real justice can be done for these guys, having spent the prime of their young lives wrongfully imprisoned. The only justice will come from a clean slate to start over with. And for the real killer to finally be brought to justice.

Buffy, my dear... If Johnny Depp cut little babies up into tiny pieces and used them for artsy crap like mosaics and collages, or just to tile his bathroom floor with, I could give a $#!t. The man can do no wrong. He's Johnny Depp for crying out loud! Eddie Vedder, however, is a scumbag, but that is what makes him so endearing and lovable. (sorry Eddie...we still cool?) How 'bout you take a little LSD...(well, its better if you take A LOT, but you are new to it, so 'baby step' it a bit)...and see how full of $#!t you really are, eh? Demon! Witch!!...Oh wait, it was only my reflection. See, now you have me jumpy. A little pot should clear that right up, so no worries.

buffy you really are dumb if you knew anything about criminal law etc you would know they would have never have let them go if they where guilty it was the states way of saving face as they new they would loose if it went back to trial......look at the facts, lies by the prosector, evidence they had that they did not hand over, not going to the cafe to get dna from the blood left by the man and so much more......jason you are an amazing man to do what you did for damien, damien you are an amazing man for living through what you haved lived through all 3 of you are.

Why is it that in this day and time there is still one level of justice for white America and another level for all other races? Eldrin Bell, Andrew Young, Maynard Jackson and other prominent officials that have had their careers and freedom are still letting an innocent man sit in jail for crimes he did not commit. Yusuf Bell and many other black poor young men were used and abused by rich black and white for sick crimes. No one wants the truth. but, these people and families deserve it.

Why do these 48 hours videos always get hung up. This one has gone to black screen, but I have audio. Such a dissappointment. Please fix your videos CBS. Please!!!! I love to watch them. But I won't be back again for awhile to see. It captures my interest and then it is a huge let down.
