In this week's Republican address, Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, made conservatives' case for extending all of the Bush tax cuts, including for the wealthiest Americans.

It is not the President who is holding the economy hostage, it is the republicans in favor of the rich getting richer, there is no trickle down. Stop your games, we see through you.

What a pile of crap! In general, small businesses and their employees do not make more than $250,000 per year. Obama is not proposing tax increases on people running small businesses. The problem with Republicans, and the same problem as with major accounting firms (Ernst and Young quoted by Hatch) is that they don't know what a small business looks like. They think a company with $10,000,000 in sales revenue is small business because they're used to dealing with company's that have a $500,000,000 in annual sales revenues, or more. There's tons of dentists, CPA's, and other professionals in the US that won't make much more than $250,000 per year.

Reforming the tax code, how many times have we heard these words from this guy, but nothing happened. It is not the president who is holding the economy hostage sir, it is you republicans in favor of the 1% of your friends the wealthy ones in this country.
You are welling to see a hike in the tax rates for everyone in the US rather than see your friends the wealthy have their taxes raised by about 3-6%. Stop your lies and do your job for a change.
