How fortunate that Republicans offer average Americans the opportunity to install a King! His Majesty & Royalty, Mitt Romney, the 1st. -- A man so above and unlike his people that he need not explain anything to them. Be prepared to bow & curtsy before the Regal Romneys. Why the British recognized him immediately as the Lord of Manners & as "you people" know Ann-Marie lets them eat cake. Worry not, for the royal purse is in tight hands. Good-bye Republic & Long Live the King!

In the U.K. and throughout western Europe, Barack Obama is (rightfully) one of our all-time most admired presidents. I've met oh, so many people in London who have much more accurate perspective on American politic in particular -- and American culture in general -- than most of our Republican politicians and virtually all Americans who vote for Republicans.

Barack Obama, 2012!!!!!!!! (eight exclamation points, eight years in office)

Hillary, 2016!!!!!!!!

Romney's comments are completely consistent with his behavior and personality. He is by nature thoughtless and inept. He was so interested in promoting his own "expertise" as a former Olympics administrator that he could not recognize the damage he was doing to the Brits and ultimately to himself. This is pure Mitt to the core, arrogant, self-centered and completely lacking in diplomatic skills.. Great for Bain Capital, but totally unacceptable for the President. Like it or not Mitt, you are becoming transparent.

"I prefer to be true to myself, even at the hazard of incurring the ridicule of others, rather than to be false, and to incur my own abhorrence."

I too, share your belief. Although I care about what people think of me,
I care more about what I think of myself, and integrity and being true to myself is more important.

I think everyone has caught on that you snip one line, insert your own comment.. then snip anouther comment.

So here is the full quote:
"There are a few things that were disconcerting. The stories about the private security firm not having enough people, the supposed strike of the immigration and customs officials - that obviously is not something which is encouraging."

Which GEE WIZ, is actually kinda disconcerting/worrisome.
Im sure the Olympians of 1972 would think thats DISCONCERTING too!
Strange how things change when you put things in actual context.
And strange how we look at journalism when it tries to falsify the truth by ommitting facts.

Shame on the journalists that tried to do a hack job for a story.
