I am pleased Josh won $2 Million for wrongful imprisonment. I do believe he should have received $1 Million for each year in prison!! Even at that its a far cry from justice. Those 16 years in prison were pure hell on earth for him, his mother & father. Shame on the ones that framed Josh for this crime. I believe Mark and Matt are responsible for this crime.

Bless the Sheriff who was after the truth rather than leaving a case as closed and a notch on an incompetent Sheriff's belt, and for the judge who recognized the injustice and made a proper ruling on the case. After watching a few of the cases on 48 hours and seeing just how incompetent some law enforcement agencies are, and who will incarcerate anyone for the sake of being able to say they solved the case, it was refreshing to see there are people in law enforcement who are after the real truth, even in the face of threats.

It is grateful this guy who was wrongfully convicted gave 10,000 dollars to solve the crime. And the sheriff who arreted him was a really evil person.........You can be pressed but that is not excuse for doing what he did. If you consider motives for the crime the ex boyfriend should be more further investigated. I cannot believe she had sex with him. He tried to find a aliby, that's all.

The best testament to how ignorant, inept, wimpy, hypocritical, foolish, and severely lacking in common sense this country is are the juries in this and the Casey Anthony case. They both prove we should have iq tests for juries. This country can be unbelievably embarrassing to live in when thinking of our justice system. It's obvious (and it always was) that Mark Abbott committed this crime. He knew his dna would be at the scene so he needed to put himself there for some reason. Yeah, he just happened to be in the spot she was killed in at 3 in the morning.....what a coincidence.

why are all these filmed like bad segments of old Dark Shadows reruns with goth scenes, moon, lightning blasts--the melodrama goes over the top.

doesnt make sense to beat someone on the bottom of hill then put her back into the car.

they must have wanted to take her somewhere but ended up killing in the car for some reason, eg lost keys, spooked

its obvious a guilty person would blame the mexicans or a black person, someone different to themselves as possible

I don't think it was mark abbot...I think his twin was seeing her that was the skin dna was on her pants. I think the boyfriend killed her..she was only at his house for about an hour...why did she go there at 11:30 at night and only for an hour..I think he caught her riding around with some guys like he said earlier . He was mad and they were at his house fighting about it for a bout an hour . She probably got tired of fighting about it and left I think he got in his car and followed her . She was only 1/4 mile from home . I think she finally stopped because she didn't want him to go to her house and cause a seen there . This was a crime of passion ..he was so angry ..They need to look into that boyfriend. They have waited to long ..this is just what I make from what I have seen and heard..also they say she ran from whoever it was and they beat her in that ditch and than drug her body to the car and shot her...that makes no sense...they would of just shot her in that ditch and not take her to the car.. I think she some how managed to make it to the car on her own she got away from em and once in the car than he shot her

Thats weird isn't it, for a guy to reach in a car window and pull her up that, isn't it? the breast, or shoulder comment, that was very disturbing. the two brothers, and the .38 could they have been driving two cars, or a pickup and a car, perhaps? forced her to pull over? it just doesn't make sense, pulling over like that with the motor running to say hi to somebody. to me it seems like a cop got her to pull over, and they have .38s as the service weapon, don't they? I don't know, in missouri cops haul around large weapons. at least that was in the past, but so it this homicide. also someone with some power gave three inmates a better deal to lie on the guy who was innocent. Why? Chantalle was manipulated into helping convict the fall guy.why?

If the boyfriend was seeing other girls and she had been at his house, is there a possibility that the killer or killer's was a jealous girl or girls? It kind of fits to me. No rape, no robbery.

I'm extremely disappointed in this episode. Usually each episode ends with a killer be hide bars and feel a sense of closure. 48 Hour Mystery what's the deal?
