7/19 Return of whooping cough; Megafires of the West

The Centers for Disease Control is reporting more than 18,000 cases in the U.S. this year of the bacterial lung infection known as whooping cough; Also, the White House says Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad is losing control of Syria; And, Twenty-one large wildfires are currently burning across the West. And the dry conditions only add to the risk of more wildfires.
