When a president does anything good or displays positive attributes, I will give credit. I even did that with President Bush when first elected and I am not a Republican. Of course I had to take it back when our boys and girls were sent to a war we didn't belong in and paid dearly for. I took it back when he insulted foreign leaders over the air waves which caused greater tension for all of us. I took it back when our national debt spiraled out of control. So I'll be fair. I give credit to President Obama for helping the auto industry back on its feet. I give credit for preventing more big banks from tanking. I give credit for being a tremendous statesman, being able to obtain cooperation from world leaders that would not normally give it. The world favors him and that is good for us. I'm being honest. There is very little credit that I would want to take back. The gay marriage issue, I question, but that's a moral judgment call. It doesn't affect the running of our country. The whole world is in financial trouble. Only a God can get all of us out of it. No man has that kind of wisdom or power so I can't fault the President because he can't make miracles. If he continues to work at it, at some point, we will pull up. We always do with God's help. As a country, we will make it. We don't have to beat up the president. That will not change anything. Romney as Presient would not change anything much either. He talks and makes promises, but he can't make miracles either. I see no plans and wouldn't know what to expect from him. We know Obama. I can deal with that for four more years.

Wow, that was the BEST "Obama for President" ad I've seen yet! A politician, a union worker and a dependent of Federal largess--who'd have thought they'd support Mssr Obama? This was supposed to be objective reporting ? Yikes, how your American press has tanked for the man.

Obama and the auto industry? Pity the bond holders sold out for union votes.

Obama had a Democrat majority congress the first half of his term and could have gotten everything he wanted (immigration, etc) but didn't.

I am so glad that we do not have to listen to what passes for news in the US.

Well that's a shock! Obama is the choice in the historically strong union town of Steubeville OH / Jefferson County. Steubenville... a city where they never had a Democrat politician they didn't like...

Tell you what you ought to do CBS. Take US 30 due west all the way across the state of Ohio to another rural county - Van Wert. It's about the same size as Jefferson County... And I would argue even more rural. See how the Obama baloney machine is being received in that part of rural Ohio.
