Obama addresses Virginians in pouring rain
July 14, 2012 12:33 PM
Heavy rainfall on Saturday didn't stop President Obama from attending a scheduled outdoor campaign stop at the Walkerton Tavern in Glen Allen, Va. "I know this from Michelle: Ladies, I do apologize for your hairdos getting messed up," the president said, joking that his campaign should treat everyone in the crowd to salon appointments.

- I am not really sure why Romney is such a pro war candidate. Maybe it is because he knows it will not be the children of his fellow church members that will be fighting in any U.S. wars. The State of Utah lawmakers and other mormon faithful lawmakers went to Washinging in the 70's and made sure federal regulation was passed to exempt their 19-24 year old men and women from serving in the US Military. On any given day the LDS church has as many 40,000 young men and women missionaries in this age group serving their church.

- I'm trying (unsuccessfully) to imagine the crowd smiling as it stands in the rain if it were listening to Romney instead of Obama!

- Obama is the man. Mitt would never go out in the rain. Might mess up his hair and 2 thousand dollar suit.
