
Obama: GOP, Dems agree on middle class tax extension

Attempting to stress his role as a friend to the middle class, President Obama in his weekly address asked Republicans and Democrats to "at least agree to do what we all agree on" and extend the Bush tax cuts - set to expire Jan. 1 - for individuals making less than $200,000 and families bringing in less than $250,000.

- This is politicking at it's worse. It is designed for a dumbed down populace. Democrat strategies involve hand outs and stupifying the public. This election will be an indication of how well these MO's are working.The reason the Dems and the entertainment industry are joined at the hip is that they are all about fantasy.

- Actually, Obama has proposed and continues to propose ending tax breaks for companies that send jobs overseas - the GOP refuses to increase ANY tax for ANY reason. You can't reincent business to stay in America using the EXACT SAME TAX CODE written to make them leave.

- Neither talks of wages - our tax rate could be 0.00% and that would mean nothing in the end if wages continue to drop...
