
Holder: Ariz. voting law emits race-based "cloud of suspicion"

Addressing the NAACP convention in Houston, Texas on Tuesday, Attorney General Eric Holder said despite the Supreme Court's ruling striking down most of Arizona's voter ID law, he remains wary of the provision that allows local law enforcement to verify the immigration status of anyone they suspect to be illegal. "No American should ever live under a cloud of suspicion just because of what they look like," Holder said.
