- Bobby Fischer WAS kidnapped. You show your ignorance. He was arrested for playing chess when the United States government told him he couldn't just because of political reasons. He was a genius and you should be ashamed of yourselves for contributing to the ever-growing biased nature of reporting for the sake of entertainment over informing.

- Why did CBS smear the memory of Bobby Fischer in this piece? Has CBS really studied, inquired, and reported on what happened to Bobby Fischer when he was "arrested" in Japan? Modern day journalism is pretty much down the the tubes. That's why presidents can take a nation to wars based on lies about weapons of mass destruction because of the complicity and lack of serious inquiry of the media. Tsk tsk.

- The program on Magnus Carlsen was OK. My beef with the entire program is this - why was Viswanathan Anand of India not mentioned in the piece ? Anand has the World Chess Championship five times[1] (2000, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2012), and has been the undisputed World Champion since 2007. How come CBS 60 minutes says that Mr Carlsen (he may be the Mozart of chess) is the 'champion' ? When did he turn into a champion ? Gasparov and Fisher are mentioned but not Anand of India ? Here is a piece from 2010 to jog Bob Simon's memory - World champion Viswanathan Anand defeated Norwegian Magnus Carlsen and jumped to the top spot in the unofficial live ratings after the end of the second round in the ongoing Bilbao Final Masters chess tournament in Bilbao, Spain, on Sunday. Present the entire story, Bob. The kid is great, not that great.
