Its so sad that children can no longer be discipline espacialy in America.... for fear that you would loose them... but look at what these children are doing to thier parents... one could see from the age of 5 how noughty this Tyler girl was, all because her mother was afraid to say or do the wrong thing... I dont understand how she did not end up with a death penalty? because that is what she deserves.... if any of my kids try this they better make sure i am dead... otherwise its gonna be them...

For me it's really clear. That girl is a great manipulative person. She was raised alone by her mother. Her mother always gave her all she wanted. And she thought the world was that way. And I think that she is a manipulative and sociopath. She wanted to have that relationship and she wasn't going to allow her mother stopped her. So she decided to kill her. For me she is more guilty that the boy. And I think that the grandparent should think that if they forgive her she will go back to do the same. She doesn't feel any remorse. And in future they could be next.

I feel bad for the mom's parents., but I think they should cut all ties with their murdering grandchild. That spoiled brat deserved a harsher sentence.

those Grandparents need to cut ties and never look back. She killed their daughter, why on earth would you forgive that and have a relationship with the person who took your kid away? I don't care if it their grandkid or not, she is evil and you can see that all over her face. I can't believe she got a deal, how pathetic.

I think the prosecutor knows that Tylar stabbed her mother; she just put the knife in Steven's hands to be able to prosecute him, too.

both these kids look like freaks, but especially the boy. something was said about him being gay and he truly looks gay. his mother wants to proclaim that he's a good boy, but he looks like a FREAK!

if parents did not have to go around be afraid to discipline their children, maybe we wouldn't have these kids out there doing what they want, getting into tons of trouble, talking to adults like trash, etc. there is a big difference between discipline & abuse. a good spanking never hurt any child. i know i was spanked as a child and believe me, i knew my boundaries. i had somewhat of a fear of my parents. problem with kids now days is there is no fear of adults or those in the adult role. example: parent tells 16 yr old child to be home at midnight; child says whatever and leaves; child comes waltzing in at 3am; parent says 'you missed curfew, you're grounded'; once the next day comes the child dares the parent to even attempt to ground them; parent ends up backing down about everything. in my opinion the parent needed an axx whipping for being a useless adult.
