- I dont know anything about the "Long Island" murders, but like these women my sister was also murdered, she was an "escort" as well and police told me "We may never find your sisters killer, and you will never get any one interested in this case" A year after Norma (Mae) Cooper Martinez was beatened, raped, (autopcy showed evidence of this rape) and dumped off an access rd S. Eastman & I-20 in Longview Tx., Americas Most Wanted inquired about her case. They asked Longview police Stg. for approval &he refused to let them do a story on here murder. To date it is still unsolved, and polce will no longer return my calls. I had made trips to Longview, visited the spot where her body was dumped like a bag of trash, even talked with ppl on the streets...pople remember her but will not talk about it, one male tpold my sister juley she was crazy for hanging reward posters & asking questions.A call was made to CIU after hrs by a woman claimng to know who Mae's muderer was, stating he was beating her as well, she was never located, nor heard from again. A new type of DNA testing was submitted last October and I was told it would not take as long for this testng as regular DNA testing. I have called several times in the last month or so & as I stated Detective will not return my calls. I agree with you Erin, if Shannon, or either of these other women had been "famos or a senetor wfe, child ect, these cases would have been investgated more efficently. I pray this (these ) killer(s) are apprehended quickly. I know full well what these families are going though, and as with their loved ones, my sister was a person, beautiful, she loved life, her family, she left children, grandbabies, a mom, sisters, nieces, nephews, and many friends that love and miss her!

- SHAME ON EVERYONE ASSOCIATED W/48 HRS. Promoting this re-broadcast by saying 'Erin Moriarty reveals new evidence - a major break in the case' is not only misleading, irresponsible and self-serving, it's incredibly thoughtless with regard to these victims's families. It is now 46 minutes into the 1 hour show and so far, the entire show has been a repackaged version of the original broadcast that has already aired twice. SHAMEFUL. What's your next ratings ploy ?
