Do Americans realize the debt of gratitude they owe Obama just for this alone?

I'm sorry to hear that Neil Armstrong is opposed to same ideals that Elon Musk now has to expand on the exploration of space! Are we hearing a bit of corporate manipulation in Neil's stand against SpaceX?

I left this in the snippet video and I felt so compelled to post it again.

How is can this man cry for attempting to capitalize space exploration? Our previous generation fathered in the biggest government to have ever existed.

How can you shed a single tear that our former "government is the only way" generation cannot understand what you are doing?

You do not need their approval. The politics are far too different. Be strong. Neil who? Think like a true capitalist like Howard Hughes. Use the megaphone your wealth provides to defend your pursuits and point a finger at your "well meaning" opponents. Big government socialists who have taken the wealth of their fathers and turned on the tap to drain it away bankrupting and destroying a once prosperous the nation?

Very inspiring story. I wish Elon Musk every success. Yes, there will be haters and cynics, but if you have the chutzpa you deserve to win.

Did I miss the background info about Elon Musk's cash situation in 2010? He was reportedly broke. He couldn't give his first wife and five kids half of his monies from SpaceX, PayPal and Tesla. What was the upshot of his divorce from wife # 2? So, NASA overlooked his liquidity problem? Oh, my!! I have a liquidity problem...can I get a billion from NASA?
