Yeah, if I'm going to commit suicide, I'll shoot myself in the back of the head. Freaking idiots....

When it comes to suicide, you'll never read of a better case than this:

"On 3rd June, 1961, Henry Marshall was found dead on his farm by the side of his Chevy Fleetside pickup truck. His rifle lay beside him. He had been shot five times with his own rifle (a bolt-action rifle). Soon after County Sheriff Howard Stegall arrived, he decreed that Marshall had committed suicide. No pictures were taken of the crime scene, no blood samples were taken of the stains on the truck (the truck was washed and waxed the following day), no check for fingerprints were made on the rifle or pickup.

Google Henry Marshall Suicide. It will blow your mind & also educate on LBJ, JFK, FBI, Dallas etc.

The write of the note might not so sure about the gender of the new love. It is possible that her new love was testing him during the murder. The murder took look at the wife's messages, add a sentence to the suicide note. But the murder was not so sure about the gender of the new love, the name of the new love on the phone could be difficult for the murder to determine the gender. Moreover, if the wife really want to protect her new love, she should left this information out completely. The husband might not be the real murder, but the bullet hole entry tells us that this is a homicide; the suicide note has to be fake.

Well, for those who has doubt about the suicide note.It is possible for Earnest to take look at his wife's cell phone messages after he killed her. Remember how frequently the wife and her "new love" text each other? phrase like "I love u" or "I wanna be with u" from either of them could easily be translated into "my new love" in the suicide not by his husband. Furthermore, if the suicide note is real, I would expect that the wife write about her fear towards her husband, because she wrote awful a lot about that in her journal.

I was wondering if this was a repeat. On my Time Warner viewer guide it says new. Original air date June 2, 2012.

Sometimes they update an old story with new facts but it doesn't look like the case here. Even when I looked online it says Original air date June 2, 2012. Didn't want to waste my time watching the same story again. Why don't they label these shows correctly?

"HANDSOME"??!!! You must of had one too many night caps! This guy is UGLY! So what if he is tall when he just looks like the gangly, nerdly kid that was captain of the debate team and chess club in school. He never quite made it out of that "ugly duckling" stage. As far as him knocking off his wife for his new bimbo, not likely. He is such a narcissist. He likely only thinks about himself and has no empathy for anyone who might get caught-up in the cross hairs of his life. I do find it odd that he is that way being so unattractive and all. Usually people like that are good looking and use that to their advantage. Obviously mommy dearest is a BIG factor as to why he is this way.
BTW: what is with all of the complaints about repeat episodes? Am I the only one over 30 on here that remembers what happens in the summer to prime time tv? Cheez!

he made a lot of mistakes, as a Math major i'm surprised he didn't use a bit more logic. Turning up the temp to 90 to make it seem like she was dead much longer - that was in a Columbo episode (and failed there too). The tire replacement of perfectly good tires, really dumb. But most of all, the typed suicide note - she had SEVERAL DOZEN hand written journals and all of sudden she decides to write her suicide note with a computer? He caught a break that they couldn't be used, many other states do.
