Why did Romney campaign keep Solyndra trip secret?

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney addressed why his campaign kept his trip to closed solar energy company Solyndra in Freemont, CA so secretive in a press conference there on Thursday.

- The Romney/Bain success rate with companies they handled was about 80%. The Obama success rate outside of killing Bin Ladin is 0%. - Romney is coming to my State on Monday for a $2,500 a plate dinner. While the event is no longer a secret, I sure haven't been invited. I am beginning to think that this guy just doesn't like people.
