Shame on Georgetown Univ to have this person who is waging a war on religious rights for churches. At a congressional hearing recently when asked about the constitution and our rights she embarrised herself by not even understanding the constitution and the religious right she is running over with Obamacare. A sad day for Georgetown.

I'm not surprised to learn Sebelius behaved with consummate class in the face of an idiot heckler.

Nothing she or Obama has proposed requires ANYONE to USE birth control, nor does anything she or Obama has proposed require Catholic CHURCHES to offer birth control coverage for their employees. The issue is precisely what overseas observer wrikar indicates: Catholic-affiliated institutions like colleges, hospitals, and social service agencies, which both employ and provide services to people of many faiths, would be required to offer free contraceptive coverage, as an option, among the preventive services their health plans provide for employees.

Since the Church's objection to contraception is a DOCTRINAL (rather than a MORAL) objection, the bishops' hysteria about the PPACA proposal is misplaced and likely to cause significant backlash.

As for Georgetown, as a Jesuit university alum, GO HOYAS!

It was a great showing of cilivized behavior when Sebelius smiled with good grace and resumed her speech and the audience cheered after the removal of the heckler!

For Georgetown University to ask Sebilius to speak is a terrible insult to the Catholic Church, who is still fighting for their rights to freely practise their religion without government interference. The guest speaker at this Catholic university is the one that made birth control mandatory even though it goes against religious belief. All the Obama administration had to do was omit religious organizations from having to participate in covering birth control but they wouldn't do that. I believe it's the first time in history our government is actually forcing the Catholic Church to comply with something that goes against the faith. It's frightening to see how close we are to losing our freedom of religion. I'm a Democrat, but Obama has to go.
