Two military pilots won't fly the F-22 Raptor because they say a lack of oxygen during flight is causing disorientation; Then, when two newspaper reporters in Kentucky began investigating the corrupt local sheriff, they not only got headline stories - they also got death threats; Also, Michael Phelps is back to a strict training regimen after a lull that included skipping practice and uncertainty about returning to the Olympic games.

Love how liberals are so SURPRISED. That people would NEED TO BUY A GUN and/or why people should have the RIGHT to own guns. Just not to protect themselves from the crminals. But FROM when the POLICE/GOVERMENT because the crminals!!

re: the F-22 Raptor, I celebrate the courage and integrity of Maj. Gordon and Capt. Walsh. My dad was career USAF, came up through the ranks to earn the rank of Maj. and become an Electronics Counter-measures officer on a B-52. He died on active duty on Jan. 30, 1963 when his plane lost its vertical tail stabilizer in high turbulence. His was one of three B-52s lost that year, with a tragic total of 20 crew deaths. My dad's plane went down one week after a similar B-52 crash in Maine in which 9 men died over the same structural failure. Today, if a structural problem is found in a commercial aircraft, the entire fleet is grounded until "sister" aircraft are inspected and remediated. The B-52 tail assembly structural integrity problems were well known to Boeing-Lockheed and the USAF long before these unnecessary 1963 deaths. Maj. Gordon and Capt. Wilson may only get one chance to save their lives and those of fellow pilots, so they may all grow older with their children and/or loved ones . Kudos to you both, and to IL Rep. Kenzinger for watching over these pilots with the best kind of "right stuff" and advocating to protect their careers!

RE Michael Phelps' mom expecting him to go on to Rio: What has a guy gotta do to make this mom happy? She's already pressuring him to go on to the NEXT Olympics, never mind he's about to compete in THIS Olympics, and has already devoted most of his childhood and youth to a swimming pool already . . time to tell mom to stand down, Michael . . .

After viewing the "Corrupt Kentucky Sheriff" segment, I wondered why 60 Minutes / CBS News did not offer the now-unemployed journalist Adam Sulfridge a job. Don't you folks need a persistant and ethical journalist on staff willing to sacrifice his own security to investigate corruption and get positive results?Plus he is an attractive man who presents well on camera. If you folks are afraid of his southern accent, maybe you need to hire him to attract that southern demographic.
