The bodies of Sheri, Garett and Gavin Coleman were discovered on May 5, 2009. Chris Coleman went on trial two years later. At trial, the jury heard a videotaped deposition from his boss, televangelist Joyce Meyer.

Joyce Meyer cannot force people into doing the right things but I don't like her attitude in this video. She just seems like she doesn't want to be interviewed in this video. I am not speaking bad of her but she could have used the money she used for her plastic surgery to do something else.

My legal experience makes me wonder why the police or the Defense didn't check the e-mail for an IP Address. Every e-mail that is sent has an IP address; this will show where the e-mail was sent from including the city and state. This is enough evidence to show who was behind this event and make a case for a reasonable doubt or show him guilty. If I was handling this case I would check every lead and trace the IP address.

We need to stay out of situations that we have no knowledge about! How dare ANYONE say such things about Joyce Meyers. I have been a member for many years of JMM and I would not come out my mouth with criticism from GOD's Anointed Prophet/ Preacher!! FEAR GOD and apologize to HIM and to JMM! GOD promises to forgive you once you repent from gossip and Judgment on others that you have absolutely no knowledge about!

From what I understand....these people, Chris's parents were good friends of Joyce's. Yes she hired their son,had known him since he was a boy. Her heart is probably broke over him in some ways....and then for his parents to sue her...unbelievable....they won't prevail...she will without a doubt. It's only a matter of time. Maybe she is wealthy,but just b/c of that she's being fleeced? His parents should be ashamed of themselves if anything they should be apologizing to her and what this ministry has endured due to their sons evil behavior. They can't be checking in with God on this one! Thye are utterly deceived....makes me understand Chris a little in a weird way....and Joyce is wealthy, b/c she is an author....she cannot write a book w/out going NY BestSeller within a short amount of time....authors happen to be wealthy people in our world, like Musicians and Artist, etc. The money this ministry gives back, is not matched by any other...just goes to remind me of the times we live in...She does good and suffers...exorbitantly...for doing good...and hiring friends kid...really? God help us.....Heaven Soon...please Lord....

Yes, let's blame Joyce for trying to help the man save his marriage, how horrible of her. How awful she must be for not butting into his private life and sending a PI to take pictures of him cheating so that she could fire him. You're telling me it is her fault because she had faith in her employee? really?

Chris Coleman knew of the conditions of his employment and had been in said employment for 10 years! enough cannot be said that you never really know a person. Obviously Joyce had no idea he had violent tendencies or she would have never employed him, much less made him head of security. To say that her organization is responsible in any way because of their policies is ridiculous.

Don't tell me they are suing as a matter of principle when they know what the organization is worth. It is horrible that their daughter and grandsons were murdered but to try to get a payout is sickening. Their murderer is in jail for life and all the money in the world isn't going to bring them back.

Guess they'll also be needing to sue Sheri's friend who actually knew for sure that her marriage was in dire straits and admitted that Sheri had told her if something happened to her to look at Chris. This is a woman who knew that Chris had violent tendencies yet said nor did anything about it.

Bottom line is that no one could have known that Chris was capable of doing what he did to his family. This whole thing makes me sick to my stomach. Trying to blame Joyce is ludicrous.

I wont attend Joyce Meyer's speech even if I am paid after this show.Something about her does not sound right to me. She looks like a guilty caught on tape in this interview IMHO . She needs to preach her heart first. Hope I am dead wrong.

When I clicked on this link I expected to get the police interview sith Chris Coleman, not Joyce Meyer's deposition.
