Boehner calls Obama and campaign "pathetic," "small"

John Boehner called on President Obama's re-election campaign to reimburse the Treasury for recent "campaign" travel disguised as official travel, which the House Speaker also called "pathetic."

Well, Mr. Speaker, welcome to the real world. Every since aviation has been available to the White House, incumbents have used it, at taxpayer expense, to campaign for re-election. Prior to that, they chartered entire trains, for whistle-stop campaigns. Harry Truman was the last to use that forum. When the president travels, for national security reasons, the president must travel in Air Force One. Any questions?

But it wasn't pathetic for G. W. Bush to travel for 60 (SIXTY!!!) days on the taxpayer's dime to push his Social Security Reform package back in 2005? Whatever. Cry me a river Boehner. I know you have it in you.

I can't understand Ohio voters sticking with this guy. He's obviously as partisan as campaign slogan, and he twists the truth as vigorously as is humanly possible. He's a weak house leader and cowtows whenever the tea partiers pull his chain. His crying on TV over who-knows-what shows what a spineless, slobering wimp he really is.

Boehner is the one who is pathetic and SMALL. Boehner is a small fish in a big bowl. He will probably lose his Speaker position because he is uneffective. He has lost all of his influence. He has become like the weather, if you don't like his opinion, just wait and he will change it.
